Modular system

Planks for mounting surfaces, stairs or ramps

Günzburger Steigtechnik has developed its patented Flexxwork work platform system to ensure work safety, flexibility and efficiency on the construction site. The first users of the system are now in place.

Bernhard Seiler, authorized signatory and head of the building construction department at construction company Bendl, attests to the virtually unlimited application possibilities of the system, which combines the advantages of working planks and small scaffolding: "We are fascinated by the versatility of the system, which can be used to create entire assembly landscapes in no time at all. This benefits us just as much in private residential construction as it does in commercial construction. It's impossible to list all the trades that benefit from the flexible plus in work safety. Flexxwork saves time and money on the construction site. At the same time, occupational safety increases. So we benefit in several ways," says Seiler. Bendl's so-called "Bauschnelldienst", the specialist team for renovation and refurbishment, also uses the Flexxwork system.

Christoph Ost, Managing Partner of Xaver Abenstein, has a similarly positive view. "Regardless of whether it's for new construction projects or special work in the field of concrete renovation, the Flexxwork is a great asset for us on the construction site. We particularly benefit from the compact dimensions and the patented tool-free plug-in system, especially when there is little space available and we have to operate different working levels," says Ost.

Different working environments
Thanks to the new Flexxwork modular system, different work landscapes can be created in no time at all. Large assembly areas are just as possible as stair-shaped superstructure variants or access ramps for transporting materials with wheelbarrows. "The construction industry has been one of our major target groups from the very beginning, because it doesn't matter whether you are a general contractor or a specialist in the individual trades: Time is money and anyone who can speed up processes here increases efficiency enormously," says Ferdinand Munk, Managing Director of Günzburger Steigtechnik.

Günzburger Steigtechnik's Flexxwork offers safe working conditions not only for bricklayers or carpenters in shell construction, but also for interior finishing specialists such as tilers, painters, plasterers and professionals in drywall construction or HVAC trades. The safety benefits of Flexxwork have also convinced the German Employers' Liability Insurance Association for the Construction Industry (BG Bau). The BG Bau supports its insured members with the purchase of work platforms and covers 50 percent of the acquisition costs, up to a maximum of 300 euros. as
