Knipex pliers wrench gets bigger

Knipex has extensively modified its pliers wrench, which combines pliers and wrench. The revised 180 millimeter long model has become lighter and has been given two additional adjustment positions for gapless gripping up to 40 millimeters.

The new pliers wrench from Knipex replaces a whole set of metric or imperial wrenches - with the optimized model even up to 40 millimetres or one and a half inches gripping capacity. The gripping jaws can be conveniently adjusted using a push button. Thanks to smooth, parallel-guided jaws, even screw connections with sensitive surfaces, such as fittings, can be screwed gently and without damage. In addition, the pliers wrench does not have to be set down when loosening or tightening screws, as the stroke between the gripping jaws enables a return stroke over the screw corners and thus screws according to the ratchet principle.

But the tool is also a mobile vice. The high transmission ratio of approx. 1:10 enables the manual force to be increased for secure holding, gripping, pressing or bending of workpieces. The new practical laser-cut scale helps to set the wrench to the required width across flats in advance and away from the workpiece. The information is shown in millimetres on the front and the equivalent inch values on the back. The weight of the pliers wrench has been reduced by ten percent for more comfortable handling during work. as
