Trade fair double in Leipzig

Intec and Z continue to grow

The Intec and Z 2019 trade fair alliance came to a successful close with increased exhibitor and visitor numbers. The date for the next edition in 2021 has already been set.

24,400 visitors from 41 countries (2017: 24,200 visitors from 35 countries) gathered information at the international industry get-together for production technology in the metalworking and supplier industry. 1,324 exhibitors from 31 countries (2017: 1,382 exhibitors from 30 countries) presented products, innovations and further developments on an increased exhibition area of over 70,000 square meters.

In addition to the range of exhibitors, current industry topics were also addressed in the accompanying specialist program. At the special shows with specialist forums on the topics of additive + hybrid and sensor technology, experts were able to find inspiration for solutions to the upcoming challenges. The "new mobility" forum was held for the first time. The topics of resource-efficient production and digitalization as well as the paths to market leadership for hidden champions were also important components of the specialist programme. The Skilled Workers Day on the last day of the trade fair facilitated targeted contacts between exhibitors and young professionals.
