Heavy duty tables
Suitable for the application
Weiss is launching new heavy-duty tables from the CR series. The models have a modular design, are more finely graduated and can be adapted more precisely to the applications. The CR700 and CR900 rotary tables, the first two models in a new family, will be on display at Automatica.
They offer around 20 percent more torque. For the first time, users can choose between different gear ratios and configure the tables to suit the respective loads. These configuration options allow components to be matched to each other and prevent oversizing. The models are available in two versions, Precision and Dynamic, depending on whether the focus is on high precision or high dynamics.
Another new feature of the series is the center opening, which has been enlarged by 230 percent as a feed-through for cables, rotary feed-throughs and upright superstructures. The fact that the tables are nevertheless stiffer is thanks to geometric optimization and the use of the finite element method (FEM) during development. This opens up new possibilities when designing the production system, as industrial robots, for example, can be set up directly above the table to save space. The heavy-duty tables are freely programmable with the W.A.S. application software. as
