Congress at Motek: Modern assembly
The "Modern Assembly" congress of the trade media handling, SCOPE and Computer&AUTOMATION will take place at Motek in Stuttgart on October 9 and 10. It highlights the challenges facing the industry and offers solutions for integrating modern assembly concepts into companies.
It is the final stage in the product manufacturing process and brings together what belongs together: assembly. The trend towards more variance and greater dynamism in product development and production does not stop at assembly technology and assembly organization. Modern assembly systems must therefore be able to manufacture complex and varied products at competitive costs - whether small series production or volume production.
The two-day "Modern Assembly" congress organized by the specialist media handling, SCOPE and Computer&AUTOMATION highlights the challenges facing the industry and offers solutions on how modern assembly concepts can be individually and safely integrated into your own company.
The motto of the first day of the congress is "Modern automation concepts in assembly". In practice-oriented presentations, experts from companies such as Bott, Memex, Kuka and Zimmer will provide an overview of manual assembly concepts, the selection of the right robot and gripper for the respective applications and an outlook on communication standards such as TSN and OPC UA.
On the second day, everything revolves around "safe assembly". Companies such as Pilz, Desoutter and Treston will explain how humans and robots can work together safely in assembly, what needs to be considered when setting up an ergonomic assembly workstation and what impact artificial intelligence will have on the production of tomorrow, for example.
