Atlas Copco: Felle new Managing Director

Erik Felle has been Managing Director of Atlas Copco IAS in Bretten since September 1. He takes over the position from Jürgen Dennig, who as Vice President Electronics in the IAS division is now responsible for business in the Electronics segment worldwide.

Felle is responsible for the business of the Central and Southwest Europe customer center in Atlas Copco's Industrial Assembly Solutions (IAS) division.

Erik Felle has been with Atlas Copco for over 20 years. He has managed the business of Atlas Copco Tools Central Europe in Essen since 2007. Until 2011, he was responsible for the success of screwdriving technology and assembly systems in the Automotive division in Central Europe, and since then in the General Industry division.

Atlas Copco's IAS division offers various joining technologies for the automotive industry and general industry from a single source. These include solutions in the areas of bonding and dispensing, self-pierce riveting and flow drilling as well as visual quality assurance.

As before, the management of Atlas Copco IAS in Bretten will be complemented by Olaf Leonhardt and Dieter Eltschkner. Leonhardt is responsible for Sales & Marketing at divisional level. Eltschkner is responsible for all business at the Bretten production site and is also legally responsible for the Geretsried production site. Bonding and dispensing systems are developed and manufactured in Bretten, while flow drilling systems are produced in Geretsried. as
