Assembly assistance
Everything error-free
Assistance system for position detection. Sarissa has developed a wireless tool transmitter for its Local Positioning System. Another new feature is the connection of the LPS with a laser projector for visualizing precise grip and screw positions.
The assistance and position detection system "Local Positioning System" (LPS) from Sarissa offers intelligent support for quality assurance. The LPS is used directly in the value creation process and actively prevents errors before they occur. The system guarantees the millimeter-precise positioning of hand-held tools and the worker's hands in production, assembly and order picking, the manufacturer promises. Typical areas of application range from the automotive industry and its suppliers to the aerospace industry and general industry.
At Motek, Sarissa will be presenting a new wireless tool transmitter with a smart design, a compact quick-release holder suitable for almost all tools and an extended runtime of up to twelve hours. The already developed electronics and driver software are available to tool manufacturers for integration into the tool. Another new feature is the connection of the LPS to a laser projector, which takes over the visualization of precise grip and screw positions instead of displaying them on the screen.
In conjunction with tools, the system determines the position of every conceivable type of tool from all tool manufacturers. The Sarissa sensor glove is used for small-scale gripping positions, which can be used to differentiate between positions with an accuracy of 50 millimetres. The LPS also safeguards complex activities such as bolting operations in flow production, where safety-relevant bolting points are also bolted overhead.
The system can be used as a powerful assistance system or as a pure 3D coordinate supplier for automation technology. Complaints are reduced, assembly costs are cut and the final inspection can be omitted. as
