3D-printed materialStratasys tests on the moon
Stratasys has announced that it will provide 3D printed materials for an upcoming lunar mission to test their performance on the lunar surface.
The housing for the radiation experiment made from Stratasys' Antero 840CN03 FDM material with a red "Remove Before Flight" cover made from Stratasys' ULTEM 9085 to protect the test samples during transportation to the moon and for installation on the surface. The materials are part of an experiment by Stratasys and Northrup Grumman to test how certain 3D printed materials behave under lunar conditions. © Stratasys
