Vision Sensor is three times faster than its predecessor

The 'CS-62' vision sensor from di-soric is around three times faster than its predecessor, the 'CS-60'. In combination with the 'nVision-i 25.1' software, it enables image processing solutions that were previously reserved for smart cameras.

The visualization system offers tools for position and location checks, completeness checks as well as label, print, code and closure checks. In addition to localization, detection and counting, users can measure distances, angles and diameters. Functions such as image correction and calibration ensure high image quality and reliable object measurements. Results are processed in the software and transferred to the control level via standard protocols.

A newly integrated smart tool allows individual tools to be linked, measured values to be corrected and processes to be optimized. For robotics applications, an automatic conversion to real coordinates takes place, which makes pick & place tasks easier.

The sensor is available with four interchangeable S-mount M12 lenses (3.6 mm, 8 mm, 16 mm, 25 mm, variable focus setting). The software has a modular structure; in the license model, the user only acquires and pays for what they need. Typical applications include quality control, assembly and packaging processes and robotics.
