The automated system has no aisles between the shelves and is based on three components from the intralogistics total solution provider. Thanks to its high degree of adaptability, the system can be adapted to almost any available space. Thanks to its scalability, up to 80 % higher storage density and a significantly higher throughput can be achieved than is possible with conventional pallet racking systems.

The automated storage and retrieval system combines the Toyota Radioshuttle with the high-density shuttle racking system, the Toyota BT Reflex RAE Autopilot automated reach truck and the T-ONE control software, which interacts with the warehouse operator's warehouse management software. The size and structure of the warehouse system is flexible as it can be configured to make the best use of the available space. The number of shuttles and automated guided vehicles (AGVs) can be adapted to the operational requirements. Optimized movements of the high-speed shuttles and forklifts reduce energy consumption in round-the-clock operation.
