Extending the service life of tools
Machining processes such as drilling, milling and finishing place an enormous strain on the tools used.

Mapal has expanded its range of solid carbide drills for steel machining.

With the new MD838 Supreme and MD839 Supreme circular segment milling cutters, Walter is launching two solid carbide milling cutters specifically for finishing operations.
In many cases, tapping or thread forming is preferred to thread milling. A new tool concept is intended to make thread milling more attractive. Walter has opted for a tool design with fewer teeth. However, the tooth feed is increased.

With the new MC232 Perform solid carbide milling cutters, Walter is expanding its range to include a milling cutter with a corner radius and neck relief, which allows users to better respond to individual component geometries.

Hufschmied Zerspanungssysteme is exhibiting at the Moulding Expo in Stuttgart. The manufacturer, which specializes in process and material-optimizing tools, will be exhibiting solutions for the key topics of the international trade fair for tool, pattern and mould making.

The precision tool manufacturer Mapal is presenting its tool portfolio for the first time this year at the Moilding Expo trade fair for tool and mold making.
