Elatec RFID Systems presents two new members of its TWN4 MultiTech product family. TWN4 MultiTech 2 LF supports all common RFID standards in the 125 kHz and 134.2 kHz frequency ranges, while TWN4 MultiTech 2 HF (image) supports the 13.56 MHz standards including NFC.

Together with PSI Automotive & Industry and Winckel, Mosca has developed an RFID application for the automated storage of strap reels in strapping machines. The spools are provided with an RFID label that contains information about the strap material.

Special requirements apply to solenoid interlocks for safety doors on large machines. Schmersal has developed the AZM400, an electromotor-operated solenoid interlock.
The pressure to optimize in the production halls of car manufacturers is great: the variance is constantly increasing and costs must remain within limits.
