Vehicles and systems for production logistics 2023
A wide variety of vehicles are used in production logistics: from transport robots and industrial trucks to conveyor belts, cranes and distribution systems.

Trapo's loading system, which replaces forklift trucks and automatically compensates for height differences on the ramp, took second place in the Warehouse, Order Picking and Intralogistics category.

With around 6,700 employees and 133 branches worldwide, TTI is one of the world's leading distributors of passive, discrete and electromechanical components as well as power, sensor and connector components. At the European headquarters in Maisach near Munich, Klinkhammer is equipping the workplace and conveyor technology extension as well as a new third shuttle aisle with control technology and the Klinkhammer warehouse management system including material flow computer.

Scientists at the Institut für Integrierte Produktion Hannover (IPH) gGmbH have developed software that allows automated guided vehicles (AGVs) to be controlled intuitively. All that is needed is a pair of AR glasses.

Automated guided vehicles should be fast, energy-saving, powerful and quiet. In addition, the entire system must be as compact as possible - including the drivetrain.

Drives for AGVs need to be lightweight and compact while at the same time offering high power density and energy efficiency. Especially in the increasingly smaller shuttle vehicles for distribution systems in warehouses, there is little installation space available for the drives.

The new LC-HD duplex connector from Telegärtner simplifies the mating and unmating process in tight spaces in HD distribution systems - thanks to a long, flexible release lever.
