Greater transparency and lower energy costs
As part of the digital networking days 2022, Werner Dittus, Sales & Key Account Manager at Compacer, will be talking about the important topic of energy optimization in production on 28 September at 9 am.
High electricity costs and a lack of insight into energy behavior are not uncommon in (manufacturing) companies. 75 percent of electricity costs are defined by the power price and this can be very drastic if the load peaks are too high and hardly optimized. But how can such peaks arise in production, for example?
The solution to avoid this is peak shaving, i.e. actively controlling electricity consumption to create transparency about energy consumption.
