Housing bearings, for example, can be adapted to the respective application using various measures: In a so-called cap housing, protective caps (SM series) made of sheet metal or robust cast covers (CM series) are used, which ensure even more effective sealing of the rolling bearings.

They are available "open" for a continuous shaft or "closed" for a stub shaft. Cast steel housings made from the material EN-GJS-450-10 are suitable for high loads. Bearing inserts of the Abeg Supra performance class with a black oxide coating provide cost-effective but far-reaching corrosion protection.
