Rolling bearings for drive technology

Drive technology places a wide range of demands on rolling bearings: They must support high speeds and loads, be as quiet as possible and be able to withstand high temperatures. Findling Wälzlager, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, supports its customers with sound advice in order to find the technically and economically optimal product for each application.

Tapered roller bearings, angular contact ball bearings, spherical and cylindrical roller bearings, deep groove ball bearings, thrust bearings and needle roller bearings: the list of roller bearing types used in drive technology is long. The company's portfolio includes over 22,000 different bearing types in countless designs. Nevertheless, there are special applications, particularly in drive technology, where "off-the-shelf" bearings cannot be used. Findling Wälzlager is also the right partner in these cases: on the one hand, the experts have the necessary application experience and can advise on the choice of the right seal and lubrication, for example. On the other hand, the Karlsruhe-based company also offers an optimized range for many industries and also manufactures special solutions according to customer requirements.

The ABEG eXtreme product family, for example, which the manufacturer has designed for performance requirements beyond the standard, is suitable for drive technology. The four series Xclean, Xforce, Xspeed and Xtemp are available for harsh environmental conditions, high loads or speeds and extreme temperatures.

"The Xspeed bearings are particularly suitable for electric motors, pumps, compressors, fans, encoders and air conditioning systems. They are also used in medical technology or for particularly quiet drives for stair lifts and high-speed doors," says Managing Director Klaus Findling. "As the running properties play a special role in this segment, Xspeed bearings meet the highest demands in terms of surface quality and bearing clearance, sealing technology and lubrication."
