Lightweight closure systems

Emka has added new components to its plastic connecting rod system for more flexible use on control cabinets.

With the help of a newly developed adapter, all Emka lever handles can be connected to the lightweight solution. If, for example, a bar lock is used, the H-profile plastic bars used can also be clipped onto all Emka key plates and swivel handles without tools using the adapter. All locking components and rods are made of glass fiber reinforced plastic. The new system can be used both inside and outside the seal. When installed outside the seal, at least two locking brackets are required on the door frame. As the system can be used for doors with a height of 800 to 2,200 mm, more or fewer locking brackets are used depending on the size of the enclosure. Depending on the door height and the resistance of the door seal, locking points can be set at 75 mm intervals.
