"The time has come for MPDV to let the next generation take the helm," says Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Kletti, founder and managing partner of MPDV, "and who would be better suited for this than an innovation driver, a bridge builder and a networker - especially since the latter will also continue the family tradition as my daughter." As part of the company succession, MPDV, provider of manufacturing IT for the smart factory, is appointing three new Managing Directors as of October 1, 2020: innovation driver Thorsten Strebel (Managing Director Products & Services), bridge builder Jürgen Petzel (Managing Director Sales) and networker Nathalie Kletti (Managing Director). All three experts have been members of the successful medium-sized company's top management since the beginning of 2018 as representatives of the most important divisions. Wolfhard Kletti, who has also been Managing Director to date, will retire on April 1, 2021.

More than 40 years in the manufacturing environment

The future of the manufacturing industry depends to a large extent on the supporting IT systems. With currently around 500 employees, more than 40 years of project experience and know-how from over 1,400 MES installations worldwide, MPDV makes a significant contribution to the success of many companies. Prof. Kletti is optimistic about the future based on previous experience and current developments: "There is no question that the manufacturing industry will continue to need innovative IT solutions in the long term. And with the three experts mentioned, I am placing the succession in competent hands. This more than secures our continued existence in the long term." Even after the changes in management, MPDV will remain completely self-financed and will therefore be able to operate independently in the long term.
