Functions for gear production and measurement
Kisssoft is widely used as design software. In addition, Kisssoft provides analysis tools for manufacturing with its functions specifically related to gear production and measurement.
This promotes collaboration and data exchange between calculation, production and quality assurance engineers. The "Design-Manufacture-Measure" loop integrates Kisssoft, gear production and measurement technology solutions into one process. Manufacturing deviations can lead to increased noise excitation or an unfavorable contact pattern during operation. To predict the effect of such deviations, the measured flank topography is imported into Kisssoft. Contact analysis is used to analyze the running behavior, either as a gear pair or in the drive train. This allows a comparison between the target and actual state.
