Technology center from Heitec
Eplan moves into new Austrian headquarters
Eplan has moved into its new headquarters in Austria at the recently opened Heitec Technology Center in Ardagger-Stift. The entire value chain is now presented there, from machine development and engineering to production and maintenance.
Interested parties can experience the entire product life cycle of systems using machine and automation technology, engineering and digital twins. At the same time, they can "follow" the path of digitalization up close.
"The relocation of our Austrian headquarters to Heitec 's new technology center is a unique opportunity for us and for our customers," says Martin Berger, Managing Director of Eplan Austria. On August 1, 35 Eplan employees and some colleagues from the sister company Cideon moved into the new 1,200m2 site in Ardagger-Stift, not far from the previous Eplan headquarters in Amstetten. The training center of the solution provider is also integrated with three ultra-modern training rooms, in which up to 36 people can be trained at the same time using the latest technology.
The reasons for the move are quickly outlined: The old building had become too small for further staff expansion, which is currently being pursued with great commitment in the Sales and Consulting departments. However, the benefits for customers also played a decisive role in the realignment.
Closing ranks between machine technology, automation and engineering
The integration into the technology center of Heitec, a long-standing partner of Eplan Austria and user of almost all Eplan solutions, offers powerful advantages: Heitec already uses Eplan solutions for the design of the control technology, which now map the process from pre-planning and execution through automation to commissioning and service with consistent data using a number of special machines and corresponding automation technology. Topics such as the digital twin or maintenance scenarios such as the linking of HeiMax and Eplan eView will be presented. Finally, holistic solutions with consistent data, state-of-the-art software tools and automation technology make it possible to increase productivity and efficiency throughout the entire process. This includes shorter planning cycles and faster production and assembly processes.
By arrangement, interested parties can take a tour and discover new cloud topics in the course of Eplan ePulse at the same time.
