More efficient through the pre-Christmas period
The peak season is in full swing. Retailers and customers are in a pre-Christmas mood, which usually results in stress and impatience. Exotec's Skypod system provides a remedy during this turbulent time.
Like Christmas elves - only more efficient
It's no secret that sales in the warehouses are in full swing as soon as the first Advent calendars start piling up in the nation's discount stores and supermarkets. The experts at Exotec know this too. That's why they have designed a flexible rental robot model that complements their Skypod system in the warehouse automation sector to offer their customers the right solution for the peak season.
Oversized, non-scalable intralogistics systems are only profitable when they are fully utilized. This is usually only the case at certain times of the year. Exotec, on the other hand, offers the option of renting its Skypod warehouse robots on a temporary basis. This results in maximum efficiency and an economic advantage for the hirer. The climbing robots can climb their own shelving system up to a height of 12 meters and pick goods independently. This enables them to bring every item to the picking station within two minutes, regardless of where it is stored.
The rental of the Skypods includes:
- Preparing the storage robots before shipping
- Transportation of the robots and collection after the company's own peak season
- Set-up of the system by Exotec personnel
The minimum rental period for Skypods is one month. The start date is just as flexible as the optional extension of the rental period. To make use of rental robots, however, they should always be requested from Exotec three months before the respective peak season.
