As Chief Representative, the 53-year-old had already taken over the role of former Managing Director Ulrich Weyer since July 1, 2019. "With Bernhard Ismann, we have been able to gain an outstanding colleague, both personally and professionally, as Chief Financial Officer for akf group. It quickly became clear to us that he was our ideal candidate to succeed Ulrich Weyer," says Dr. Frank Henes, CEO of akf Bank and akf Leasing, welcoming the new member of the management board.

Bernhard Ismann is also looking forward to the challenge ahead of him of helping to shape akf's further growth: "We have an ambitious strategy for the future and will continue to expand our company's new business in promising sectors and properties - always under the premise of keeping risks at a very low level. We will continue to offer our customers tailor-made financing at attractive conditions. In my role, I will do everything in my power to further increase the profitability of our company through stringent cost management," says the newly appointed Managing Director.
