Wireless weak point analysis with Bosch sensor technology
The SCD sensor from Bosch Rexroth records several pieces of data simultaneously and transmits them wirelessly to an app for weak point analysis. It can be easily attached to the component without disrupting production.
Sensors are the sensory organs of the factory of the future, and the data they collect is the raw material for continuous process improvement and plant efficiency. But how can the data be collected with reasonable effort for the many upcoming IoT projects? For example, with the SCD (Sense Connect Detect) sensor, which was developed using Bosch's expertise in sensor production and Bosch Rexroth's automation experience. It can be easily attached to the desired component and records, visualizes and stores data quickly and without any programming effort.
Digital multimeter for ad hoc analyses
Thanks to multi-sensor technology, the SCD records multiple data simultaneously and transmits it wirelessly to an app for immediate weak point analysis. The field of application for this digital multimeter ranges from machine commissioning and the production phase to service cases and extends from shock and current detection to the recording of vibration profiles or slow temperature curves to the detection or temporary recording of a warning lamp status.
The wireless sensor, which is only the size of a matchbox, can be attached to the monitored object, such as a motor, pump or valve, using a cable tie or self-adhesive. The existing production process remains unaffected.
Evaluable data after just a few minutes
With the SCD, IoT practitioners can record, visualize and save data quickly and without any programming effort. As soon as it is activated, the sensor provides measured values for temperature, acceleration, magnetic field/current and light - even with high-frequency data acquisition if required. The associated app is installed in just a few minutes, so that quality-critical anomalies in production operations are immediately visible. The measured values can be exported to Excel for further evaluation and documentation. as
