2-in-1 sensor technology
According to the manufacturer, the Area Profile Scanner 3D from Isra Vision offers a combination of stereometry, triangulation and various lighting modes as well as a striped or random pattern as required. This provides the sensor with the necessary reference points in a single image, which greatly accelerates scanning times and therefore enables particularly short cycle times. The necessary object detection is thus possible without blurring, even with moving objects.
Multi-line illumination is available for precise scans, allowing the system to capture structures in detail in three dimensions. The data collected is available both as a point cloud and, thanks to the on-board computing capacity, also in STL format for direct CAD comparison. Complex surfaces are digitally mapped using automatic data meshing, allowing even complex features such as planes or drill holes to be reliably captured.
Especially for inline measurement technology, the APS3D also offers efficient teach-in of features: the relevant edges, gaps or drill holes can be defined with just a few clicks.
