Measuring sensors with IO-Link

Measuring inductive sensors with IO-Link and voltage output expand Turck's sensor portfolio. On the one hand, the devices with adjustable voltage output via 0...10 volts or 2...10 volts and a freely parameterizable switching output can be used as measuring sensors; on the other hand, the use of IO-Link 1.1 COM 2 makes the sensor a data supplier for Industry 4.0 applications, such as predictive maintenance.

The sensors resolve the measuring range with twelve bits and offer numerous functions and parameterization options. In addition to the freely adjustable measuring range, the user can change the behavior of the switching bit in the process data and the physical switching output in SIO mode. When used as an IO-Link product, additional diagnostic options are available via two bytes of process data. For example, the integrated temperature indicator can issue an alarm in the event of deviations from the setpoint. The flush-mounted M12, M18 and M30 threaded tube devices are initially available. as
