System operators who want to reduce the number of sensors can use the 420B and 412B ultrasonic sensor series from Leuze.

They are available with an adjustable sound beam and as either switching (HTU) or measuring (DMU) sensors - allowing for flexible application. The sound beam can be set to narrow, medium or wide in three stages via an IO-Link interface and thus adapted to the respective application. The sensors work with maximum precision: they reliably detect where optical sensors reach their limits. They also detect shiny, reflective, dark or transparent surfaces and liquids without any problems.

The 420B series comprises ultrasonic sensors in compact cubic plastic housings; it replaces the 420 series. With the new devices, users benefit from smaller blind zones with the same or greater sensor range. The 412B series complements the cylindrical sensor portfolio in M12 housings with devices with IO-Link and analog output.
