Ibeo, the Hamburg-based lidar sensor specialist, has developed Ibeonext, a new sensor based on a new type of photon laser measurement technology. It generates an additional black-and-white image similar to a camera and is suitable for both driver assistance systems and automated driving at levels 3 and 4.
