Control 2021 only as a virtual event

The trade fair for quality assurance is only taking place virtually this year.

A few months ago, May 2021 still seemed like a good date for an in-person trade fair. From today's perspective, things look different and trade fair organizer P.E.Schall has also pulled the emergency brake on Control and switched to a virtual model. After extensive consultations with exhibitors and the trade fair advisory board, the trade fair organizer had to decide to cancel the industry highlight, which had been prepared for May 4 to 7, 2021.

"It is with a heavy heart that we have made the decision to cancel Control 2021 as a presence trade fair," says Bettina Schall, Managing Director of P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. "Once again, we have taken this decision with all those involved on the basis of common sense and a sense of responsibility." Many companies from all sectors had been eagerly awaiting Control as the most important specialist event for measuring and testing technology, vision technology, image processing and sensor technology and therefore the most important platform for industrial quality assurance, confirms Bettina Schall. "We therefore particularly regret the cancellation."

As an alternative, P. E. Schall is once again offering the online marketplace Control-Virtual.the next Control as a face-to-face event will take place from May 3 to 6, 2022.
