Change at Endress+Hauser
Top management reorganized
Dr. Peter Selders takes over as CEO at Endress+Hauser. Matthias Altendorf is the new Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Endress+Hauser is making the announced change at the top of the company: Dr. Peter Selders is taking over as CEO of the Swiss specialist for measurement technology and automation solutions. Dr. Selders, who holds a doctorate in physics, is 54 years old, has been with the company since 2004 and was previously head of the competence center for level and pressure measurement technology based in Maulburg. He is only the fourth CEO of the Group in the company's 70-year history.
His predecessor Matthias Altendorf (56) is moving to the Group's Board of Directors after ten years at the helm. In 2014, he became the first non-family CEO to succeed Dr. h. c. Klaus Endress. He is now replacing the 75-year-old as Chairman of the Board of Directors. In future, two members of the third generation will represent the interests of the shareholder family: In addition to Sandra Genge, Steven Endress, a grandson of the company founder, also joined the board on January 1, 2024.
Peter Selders will be succeeded at Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure by Dr. Dirk Mörmann (50), who was previously Head of Technology and a member of the Executive Board. Endress+Hauser had already announced all of these changes in February 2023.
