Automate the scanning process and analysis
Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence introduces PartInspect L, an automated 3D measuring cell based on Aicon scanning technology.
It combines various stripe light projection technologies with a flexible robot arm in a modular cell. The solution has an interactive automatic scan planning function as well as systems for robot path generation and collision avoidance based on CAD data.
All functions together ensure an automated 3D measurement process from planning and scanning to analysis and reporting. The cell provides inspection results for components up to 1.5 m in diameter and weighing up to 2,000 kg. The system is available in two configurations. The "Efficient" configuration uses the entry-level scanner Aicon PrimeScan, while the "HiEnd" variant uses the Aicon StereoScan neo scanner series.
