Sick is presenting itself at the trade fair as a provider of innovative sensor and complete solutions for intralogistics and the implementation of Industry 4.0. Product highlights include the high-end ICR890 line scan camera, the OutdoorScan safety laser scanner and the flexible Flexchain light grid, which relies on a "chain of lights" made up of cascaded, flexibly positionable sensors.
One of the new functionalities of the ICR890 high-end line scan camera is the integrated detection and verification of dangerous goods symbols on parcels or pallets. The stationary and mobile safety laser scanner Outdoorscan is a non-contact protective device for monitoring outdoor areas. Sick will also be exhibiting complete solutions such as the ready-to-install DWS Dynamic dimension-weighing scanning system for handling freight, the certified VMS5200-MID volume measurement system, the UWB indoor positioning system for asset localization and an intelligent shelf for Kanban production supply. Sensors turn the intelligent shelf into a largely autonomous Kanban shelf for production supply - only the filling and removal of containers is done manually. mm
