With the modular safety gate system from Pilz, individual safety gate solutions can be created for the respective application. Various components are available for this, which can be flexibly combined depending on requirements.
The focus is on the safety gate sensors PSENslock and PSENmlock. According to PIlz, the new variant of the PSENmlock system with series connection enables cost-effective installation thanks to reduced cabling. An escape release is available in two versions as an optional accessory. Safety Device Diagnostics (SDD) for comprehensive diagnostics completes the safety gate solution. With SDD, the guard locking of individual sensors in the chain can now be specifically controlled for the first time.
The PITgatebox push-button unit for simple operation and control of safety gate systems is also new to the Pilz range. It can be used to control commands such as activate, stop or acknowledge the machine or system. The preconfigured variants with different combinations of pushbuttons, key switches and emergency stop buttons offer maximum flexibility for individual applications. In addition, the automation expert will be showcasing innovations from the fields of control and drive technology in Hanover, with a focus on safe human-robot collaboration. as
