Maintaining the minimum distance with wearables

Keeping your distance is the order of the day to protect employees and ensure a restart and operation. With SafeZone, Kinexon has developed a wearable that warns the wearer as soon as the minimum physical distance to other people becomes too small.

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, companies are looking for ways to resume business operations in a safe manner. Maintaining the minimum distance between employees plays a key role in this. To enable this reliably, Kinexon, provider of real-time localization, is launching a solution on the market: Kinexon SafeZone.

The core element is a plastic wristband that actively warns the wearer as soon as the minimum physical distance to another person is exceeded. Using optional special software, companies can also trace chains of infection and then initiate targeted measures.

SafeZone is also available for large industrial requirements and enables companies to reduce infection risks, optimize occupational safety and ensure reliable operating processes. According to the manufacturer, the first companies are already using SafeZone after a successful test phase. as
