Modular safety management
Pilz's trade fair presence will focus on innovations from the areas of operating and monitoring, safe sensor technology, I/O systems and services. Also on show: the modular operating mode selection and access authorization system PITmode fusion, which covers safety and security requirements simultaneously.
The system consists of the PITreader readout unit with RFID technology and integrated web server as well as a Safe Evaluation Unit (SEU). By separating the components, PITmode fusion can be seamlessly integrated into the design of existing control panels. The modular version of the operating mode selector switch thus opens up new application possibilities. And if you only want to control one access authorization, you can do this with the PITreader as a stand-alone device. Other key topics in Hanover are Industry 4.0 and service robotics: visitors can experience the Pilz Smart Factory, a modular production line for manufacturing products in batch size 1, live.
