Non-contact voltage tester for electrical systems

Flir presents the VP50-2 non-contact voltage tester with work light and three alarm types. This makes it safer and easier to detect and check problems in electrical systems.

The VP50-2 was developed for experts who have to maintain electrical systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. It enables them to check an AC circuit for the presence of voltage before starting work, detect voltage in exposed live parts or through insulation, locate live conductors in switch cabinets, switches and sockets, and trace live wires and the route of circuits.

With its multi-colored LEDs, vibration function and audible alarm, the VP50-2 can alert experts to the presence of voltage. This ensures that testers can clearly recognize and hear its alarm signals even in noisy and dark environments. In addition, the VP50-2 has been developed for many years of worry-free use. Its housing with roll protection and robust construction can withstand a fall from three meters onto concrete.

As the VP50-2 also has a CAT IV 1,000 V safety rating, the user can use this electrical voltage tester to detect AC voltage without having to touch conductors in sockets. The VP50-2 is suitable for all countries where the socket voltage is 100 to 120 volts. The VP52-2 offers the same functions as the VP50-2 and is suitable for all countries where the socket voltage is 200 to 240 volts. as
