Cybersecurity tests in the network area
Keysight Technologies has introduced the APS-100/400GE series modular test platform for network applications and security.
It provides high encryption throughput that enables network equipment manufacturers (NEM) and data center operators to validate devices that support their customers' massive data volume and cybersecurity requirements.
Hyperscale data center operators must prepare for unprecedented traffic volumes and ever-growing attack surfaces. NEMs need to validate their next-generation firewalls for this market and data center operators need to find the right balance between security and user experience.
The APS platform includes the APS-M1010 controller and APS-ONE-100 appliance modules, which can be combined to provide manufacturers and operators of high-performance data centers with a cost-effective "pay as you grow" approach to their cybersecurity testing needs. This approach protects current and future investments as data center interfaces and speeds evolve from 100 Gigabit Ethernet (GE) to 400 GE.
The test platform supports Keysight's application and security testing solutions and is a layer 4-7 hyperscale test solution that identifies performance and interoperability issues in devices and systems such as next-generation firewalls. It combines powerful multi-core and multi-threaded processors, crypto acceleration and cloud-native software to generate realistic hyperscale user and malware traffic under realistic conditions.
