Palletizing trays or KLTs directly from the floor roller

The SAST series palletizing system from Hirata is particularly compact and requires only a small footprint. It palletizes and depalletizes trays or KLTs directly from standard floor rollers.

Level differences on the floor roller or uneven floors are irrelevant. It is also possible to change the floor roller while a tray is being processed. The palletizer can also be quickly converted to different tray heights. Thanks to the positioning of the robot in the area between the pallet stacks and an optimized work sequence, the interruption to the infeed caused by the pallet change is only approx. 2 seconds. The SAST palletizer is designed for 600 mm x 400 mm floor rollers. The tray stacking weight depends on the maximum load of the floor rollers. The palletizer is equipped with its own control system or a Siemens PLC. A Hirata SCARA robot, an articulated arm robot or a linear axis system can be integrated for handling the workpieces.
