To this end, item offers ready-to-install swivel arms in a wide range of solution variants that allow all work and digital tools to be perfectly positioned and always within easy reach.
The freely adjustable friction in the joint ensures optimum alignment according to the employee's needs - and therefore maximum efficiency and maximum ergonomics at the workplace.
With the Swivel Arms and Double Swivel Arms 8, item enables ergonomic and customized provision of tools, containers, trays or media at workstations. The item Work Bench System offers Friction Joints that can be quickly and easily adapted to personal requirements and different work situations - without compromising on safety. The friction torque can be adjusted with pinpoint accuracy so that the swivel arm can be moved ergonomically and with little effort while remaining stable and holding the desired position. In this way, the perfect balance of the swivel arm 8 not only ensures ergonomic handling for the employee, but also a reliable hold for the application. The resistance can be readjusted if necessary, as users are not tied to a fixed friction torque. For example, if people with different ergonomic requirements work in different shifts at the same workstation, the friction can be changed flexibly.
The double swivel arm 8 has an extended working radius. For example, gripping trays with small parts can be positioned exactly above the work surface and the angle to the employee can also be individually adjusted. Heavy-duty Swivel Arms with a load capacity of up to 40 kilos are also available for heavy loads - so item meets every requirement profile.
Multiple awards
Preconfigured Swivel Arms and individual Friction Joints can be ordered directly from the item Online Shop. There is also the option of creating customized Swivel Arms by combining individual components. The Swivel Arms are also compatible with components from the tried-and-tested item MB Building Kit System. Friction Joints and Swivel Arms from item have won both the Red Dot Design Award and the German Design Award.
