Responding even faster to individual customer requests - this is the goal item is pursuing with the opening of its new site in Tamm, north of Ludwigsburg. "By additionally strengthening our service network in the greater Stuttgart area, we are offering faster and more flexible order processing," explains Jürgen Kupka, Sales Manager South at item. "Our customers can continue to rely on the high quality of our products and short delivery times." Ordered catalog goods are dispatched within 48 hours. Customers can access the entire product range of the market leader in modular systems and receive direct support from local contacts when implementing their projects. In addition, item conducts on-site training courses to teach the basics as well as more in-depth content from areas of special machine construction and to provide information on the ideal applications for profile and linear technology. "For us, direct and personal contact with customers continues to be a priority," says Jürgen Kupka. "The intelligent item online tools for configuration and design are helpful tools for making project work easier."

With its convenient location close to the A 81 and its proximity to Stuttgart, the branch in Tamm helps to ensure short delivery times for item components, even as order volumes grow. The new 3,300m2 site has around 2,300m2 of storage and production space.

At the site opening, the company presented solutions and products for industrial applications and provided information on the possibilities of combining the modular components with each other.
