Logimat 2025: Solutions from the modular system
Transporting small parts with gravity
Item will be presenting various solutions for efficient material flow at Logimat 2025. The basis is the well-known Item modular system, which the manufacturer has expanded with new components.
They are designed to simplify the implementation and operation of stationary and mobile robots. The systems consist of base carts - basic frames that are compatible with driverless transport systems from leading manufacturers - and top modules with specific superstructures such as shelving solutions or special assembly attachments. Item will also be presenting an overhead conveyor system: It is designed for the manual or semi-automated transportation of components that easily get caught up in each other.
The new overhead conveyor system for material weighing up to five kg is a space-saving alternative to small load carriers. The ESD-safe trolleys move on track profiles with an inclination of three degrees using gravity alone. Item will also be presenting innovations in the areas of workstation systems, signaling and linear technology.
