Consumer award for WD-40

WD-40 is delighted with the positive customer perception on the market. Almost one million consumers across Germany rate the company as the brand with the highest customer benefit in the "Vehicle accessories and care" category.

WD-40 has been awarded the title "Highest customer benefit". With an average score of 2.14, consumers rate WD-40 as the brand with the best customer benefit in the vehicle accessories and care category. With a category average of 2.41, WD-40 clearly sets itself apart from the average customer benefit in the category.

Nowadays, consumers are faced with a large number of competing companies with seemingly similar products and services. This makes a high level of customer benefit all the more important for companies. This combines the opinion of the product and its performance, the image of the brand and customer satisfaction. Against this backdrop, ServiceValue GmbH, in cooperation with the daily newspaper Bild, is examining customer benefits across Germany for the first time. The survey focused on 3,169 companies from 242 sectors. Over 900,000 consumers rated on a 5-point approval scale the extent to which the expected benefit was fulfilled and the perceived benefit after purchasing the product. The survey was conducted without the influence of the companies being evaluated.
