Esta filter tower with a new heart

The extraction technology manufacturer Esta has revised its filter tower series. According to the company, the heart of the new hall ventilation systems are more powerful and highly efficient fans.

From now on, the filter towers will be equipped with EC fans as standard. According to Esta, the new towers are more powerful and efficient than before: performance has improved by up to 10 percent compared to previous models. The new standard version also offers users the option of regulating the extraction power as required. This reduces the power consumption of the towers. Compared to conventional filter towers on the market, which are designed with radial fans, power savings of up to 50 percent can be achieved. Particularly smooth-running fans also ensure quieter operation.

The new generation is available in three performance levels up to a maximum air volume flow of 22,000 cubic meters per hour. The filter towers are designed for the wide-area capture of dust, welding fumes and oil emulsion mist in production halls - whenever selective capture or direct capture is not practicable when working on large or complex workpieces. The systems do not require a pipe system and can be put into operation in no time at all according to the "plug & play" principle. The extraction technology specialist also offers the new edition of the Filtower line with W3 certification or with Industry 4.0 functions. The Ecotemp version with cooling and heating function also has EC technology on board.

Larger filter surface

Esta has also revised the filter technology of the hall ventilation systems: The cartridge filters, which are made from polyester spunbond, now have a larger filter surface and greater pleat spacing, which has a positive effect on performance and the fully automatic filter cleaning process. The fan module has also been further developed and now has a more effective air flow and lower operating noise. In the pre-separation system, the company relies on an additional collection container for coarse particles and sparks. This minimizes the risk of a filter fire and protects the main filter at the same time.

Up to 40 percent subsidy from the state

According to the new BAFA subsidy guidelines, investments in extraction systems equipped with highly efficient cross-section technologies can be subsidized by the state by up to 40 percent. The Esta filter towers, which are designed with high-efficiency fans, are also eligible for funding.
