Fire alarm control panel
Simple operation and continuous documentation
Minimax has launched the Clunid FMZ6000 fire detection and extinguishing control panel. It is designed to improve fire detection technology and the monitoring and control of extinguishing systems of all kinds.
According to Minimax, the simple operation via a touch display contributes to safety during operation. Powerful network technology enables the control of other areas of the fire protection operating technology and thus simplifies the implementation of an operating principle test. This should set new standards in fire detection and extinguishing control technology.
Each control center has a modular structure and is therefore equipped with exactly the technology required for the respective application. High computing power and generously dimensioned event and history memories allow the system to be freely scaled. The central signal processing unit and the processors on all modules and area control panels are redundant. Even if individual function modules are replaced, operation is possible without interruption. Automatic plausibility checks also prevent configuration errors. Diagnostic functions with suggestions for corrective measures increase the reliability of the entire system.
The color 7" touch display makes operation simple and clear. User guidance is intuitive, operating statuses are visualized by the color of the display and messages are shown in full text. Additional functions can be visualized and controlled via programmable area control panels. Many parameters can be entered directly on the control panel without the use of additional tools. The LogicManager configuration software automatically generates clear system documentation on an ongoing basis. This means that the documentation is automatically tracked and adapted internally in the event of configuration changes and changes in use. Functional checks during service activities, modernization or maintenance measures are user-guided and are also securely and automatically documented in the control center. Status information from the operation of the system supplements the documentation and is available at any time for trend evaluations.
A wide range of detectors and actuators are available for use. All detector protocols are downward compatible for addressable loop devices. The module concept offers a number of additional advantages for project planning and service. All modules have the same width and fit into any slot, regardless of the module type. This allows the space in the control panel housing to be used flexibly and optimally. Addressing takes place automatically when a module is installed so that the control panel is immediately ready for operation.
