ULT has developed an ignition source-free version of the LAS 800 extraction system to increase explosion and fire protection when removing laser dust. The LAS 800 Ex was specially designed because laser processing produces increasingly fine combustible dusts due to higher input energies or shorter laser pulses, the explosiveness of which increases with the degree of fineness.
