Polymer telescopic guide

Andreas Mühlbauer,

64 percent less weight

Igus has introduced a polymer telescopic rail. It is lightweight, quick to install and cost-effective thanks to injection molding.

It can be used to easily adjust and extend the drawers, seat and headrest.

Igus uses durable and wear-resistant high-performance polymers. In airplanes and cars, low weight is crucial. The new telescopic guide is 64 percent lighter than the Drylin telescopic guide NT-35 with the same extension length. Another advantage of the new polymer guide: no rolling balls are used. External lubricants are not required. The corrosion-resistant guides are therefore also suitable for pull-outs in hygienic areas such as packaging or medical technology.
