Lithium-ion battery permanently installed for the first time
At Logimat, Jungheinrich presented the ETV 216i, the world's first reach truck with a permanently installed lithium-ion battery as standard.
In developing the truck, Jungheinrich has consistently exploited the advantages of space-saving and powerful battery technology. This has given the ETV 216i a revolutionary truck design. The new generation reach truck has significantly improved ergonomics. The ETV 216i offers the driver significantly more freedom of movement and all-round visibility. This makes the truck particularly user-friendly and offers maximum safety, according to Jungheinrich. Thanks to its compact design, the truck is also very maneuverable in the warehouse. Compared to conventional reach trucks, the ETV 216i achieves a significant increase in productivity.
The lithium-ion batteries, which are fully integrated into the vehicle, have a longer service life, are maintenance-free and perform better than conventional lead-acid batteries. This increases handling capacity and storage efficiency. Particularly short charging intervals enable 24/7 use, in which the ETV 216i can store loads of up to 1,600 kilograms at a lifting height of up to 10.7 meters. As with all lithium-ion trucks, Jungheinrich also offers its customers a 100% satisfaction guarantee for the ETV 216i. Within the first six months after delivery, Jungheinrich customers have full exchange rights and can easily and quickly switch back to the original technology at any time. as
