Hyster Europe has introduced a new series of compact pallet trucks. The trucks are particularly suitable for stacking, storing, transporting and order picking in confined spaces.
The type S1.0E-1.2E can lift up to 1.2 tons over 2.3 meters and can even reach a height of over four meters with lighter loads. Supermarkets and other retail outlets such as DIY stores should benefit from the productivity of the pallet truck, as users can store and retrieve goods more quickly with the new devices and avoid product damage at the same time. Incoming goods and collection zones, packing or assembly areas as well as in production processes and production lines are the areas of application for the vehicles. The forks can be adjusted to an ergonomic working height for order picking.
Operators can work quickly because they always have an optimum view of the forks when picking up and setting down the load. The precise lift control helps to shorten work cycles and reduce the risk of damage. The driving speed of the forklifts is limited to six kilometers per hour. The chassis and covers have a robust design. The sealed connections and protected electrical components increase the reliability of the lift truck. The industrial trucks are available with a single mast with full free lift or with a double mast with nominal free lift. There are also options such as access control via keypad, cold store versions, different load rollers and drive wheels as well as the Hyster Tracker telemetry and fleet management system. pb
