New Executive Vice President
Unicarriers: Change in the European management team
New face in European top management: Unicarriers, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Logisnext, has appointed Jonas Tornerefelt from Sweden as Executive Vice President (EVP) Sales & Marketing.
Tornerefelt succeeds Bengt Kristiansson in this position, who is retiring. He will take over the operational business in full after a handover phase on January 1, 2019. Bengt Kristiansson will remain with the company as a strategic advisor to Unicarriers President Masashi Takamatsu. Tornerefelt will support Masashi Takamatsu in achieving all sales and marketing-related corporate goals. These include increasing the market share of the Unicarriers and TCM brands in Europe and strengthening the rental and used truck business.
In addition, the aim is to standardize sales structures across Europe. To achieve these goals, Jonas Tornerefelt is working closely with the nine European Unicarriers branches. The Marketing, Fleet Management and Service departments as well as International Key Account Management also report to him. Jonas Tornerefelt (52) has experience in sales, marketing, product management as well as business development and information for B2B and B2C companies. Among other things, he worked for Toyota Material Handling for 19 years in various positions, including Managing Director of Toyota Material Handling Greece.
