Loading, transporting, assembling - many activities in logistics, industry and trade deserve more attention when it comes to the comfort and health of employees. The Xetto mobile transport system offers practical extras. With features for increased ease of use - two control units, an access ramp and other devices - it helps users to handle goods quickly and easily in their daily tasks. Xetto proves its worth when it comes to delivering products weighing up to 250 kilograms. Thanks to the hydraulic lifting device, these can be moved ergonomically and comfortably. The second operating unit on the handle also contributes to this: It can also be fitted or removed. This allows users to stow the Xetto in their vehicle to save space.
The Xetto picks up loads like a transport trolley. When loading, it becomes a pallet truck: using micro-hydraulics and kinematics, it lifts the load into the vehicle up to a loading sill height of 80 centimetres. It then "climbs" behind it. When unloading, everything happens in reverse: Xetto is driven out of the vehicle using a control panel, gains a firm footing, transforms into a pallet truck again and thus enables users to transport the load to the place of use with less effort and back strain.
The Xetto is subsidized by the integration offices of the federal states as a technical aid; the transport system can be subsidized if required. This is also the case for Ralf Dorn, who cannot fully use his legs for medical reasons: "As a service technician at Nachi, I repair robots. I drive to the customer, bring spare parts with me and then install them on site," explains Dorn. The Xetto is particularly useful for loading and unloading heavy components such as gearboxes or engines, as well as for the entire transportation process from the warehouse to the destination. as
