Special electric pallet trucks made of stainless steel
Industrial trucks are used extensively in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Special designs are often required for their diverse tasks. This is what the German manufacturer EAP Lachnit specializes in.
In sensitive zones such as food production, clean rooms or hazardous areas, safety has top priority. Industrial trucks must also meet the strictest legal requirements here. EAP Lachnit offers electric pallet trucks made of stainless steel for transportation tasks in such areas. Due to their dimensions and technical design, industrial trucks can also be used to transport Euro pallets and big boxes. The electric pallet trucks comply with the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and bear the CE mark.
EAP Lachnit also offers special versions for special transport requirements, such as the 420 S electric pallet truck for transporting drums. The demand for such industrial trucks is particularly high in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food production industries.
The design of the electric pallet truck with a wide-track chassis is very robust. A torsion-resistant load frame with fork ends is used to hold the goods to be transported. A round arch provides a firm hold for the drums to be transported. Safety has also been taken into consideration: an overload protection and a soft lowering valve are integrated as standard. The pallet truck also has a high level of stability thanks to a central wheel drive with bevel gear. Even thresholds can be easily overcome with these load carriers. Operation is via a safety steering tiller, which contains all control and operating elements. For emergency situations, the electric pallet truck is equipped with an emergency stop switch and a safety button with automatic return.
The load capacity is 3,000 kilograms, the lifting height up to 300 millimetres with a mast height of 1,600 millimetres. Thanks to its small turning radius, the pallet truck is very maneuverable. A travel speed of four kilometers per hour allows for rapid progress.
The electric pallet trucks are also well protected against moisture. For example, the key switch is fitted with a rubber cover and the control unit, battery and hydraulic unit are encased in a waterproof stainless steel housing that meets protection class IP66. This also makes them ideal for operation in wet, refrigerated and deep-freeze areas.
Strict hygiene regulations apply, particularly in chemical, pharmaceutical and food production. The industrial trucks used must therefore be easy and thorough to clean. The stainless steel material used with glass bead blasted surfaces makes this possible. as
